Britbase is a national archive of British chess tournament games, in zipped PGN format. Some files have been marked to indicate their availability on commercial databases, though in many cases the data you find here will be more accurate than from such sources. Material dates back to Hastings 1895, though I've concentrated mainly on contemporary material.

Welsh Games Archive. In an ideal world it would be great if all Welsh games could be preserved, not just those of Dyfed players, but clearly this is probably never going to happen. The best we can manage would be a central repository where as many games as possible could be stored. A website is an obvious place to deposit these games and I am offering this website as just such a place. I must stress that this is a personal venture - this proposed Welsh archive is entirely unofficial and independent of the Welsh Chess Union and of the Dyfed Chess Association.
