World Chess Championship 1929

The 1929 World Chess Championship was played between Efim Bogoljubow and Alexander Alekhine. It was played in Germany and the Netherlands from September 6 to November 12, 1929. Alekhine retained his title.

The first player to win six games and score more than 15 points would be champion.

Alekhine won the Championship.
